THE HISTORY OF PEGASUS

Pegasus Couriers (Scotland) Limited was established in 1980 by Brian and Susan Goodall as a courier company serving the needs of the oil industry by delivering urgent time sensitive documents.

A fleet of radio controlled vehicles with uniformed drivers were made available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, ready to respond to requests from customers. Initially the requirements of our customers were limited to small items and packages, urgent computer data, and hand-carried items. However, over time these requirements changed to include larger items and Pegasus responded by offering larger vehicles and the services to facilitate these.

Pegasus grew to become the premier collection and delivery service in the North of Scotland. In 1994 we entered into a joint venture partnership with Bluebird Buses, part of the Stagecoach group and the name of the company was changed to Pegasus Express Limited.

Our reputation is renowned within the distribution industry and we are able to boast 98% of our deliveries are completed either on the day of receipt or the following day, depending on customer requirements.

Our quality service is complemented by our fleet of modern vehicles, which range from Courier Vans, 3.5 Tonne Vans, 7.5 Tonne Trucks to 40-foot Artics.

We aim to provide a top quality service at reasonable rates.
